Alliance Scientific Solutions is sourcing for a Sanitation Lead for one of our top clients in Tullahoma TN.
This person will be responsible for the coordination of the sanitation process involved for production and non production aspects of the plant. Responsible for the overall plant cleanliness and assures the companies quality standards, this is a direct hire opportunity!
Primary Responsibilities/Duties:
Adhere to GFSI Food Safety and Quality policies.
Must adhere to proper GMP, SOP, HAACP and safety policies.
Direct, coordinate and perform sanitation operations within company policies and procedures.
Completes appropriate paperwork and submits to management each day.
Maintain a clean and safe department.
Establish and maintain a positive community relationship.
Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings.
Responsible to report Food Safety or Quality issues to personnel with authority to initiate actions.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills/
Qualifications:
High School diploma required.
2 or more years of related Sanitation experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, effectively work in a fast paced environment, have strong
decision making skills and use good judgment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, weekend overtime or temporary reassignment to a different shift.
Able to work in cool 50 degree production room or 34-38 degree coolers.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
