Alliance Scientific Solutions is sourcing for a Quality Assurance Manager for one of our top clients in Tullahoma TN. This individual will be working with Plant Manager to ensure the development, compliance, and certification of HACCP and other Food Safety and Quality programs for production facility. This is a direct hire opportunity!
Primary Responsibilities/Duties:
Develop, organize and manage applications of a comprehensive Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS).
Formulate quality policies and programs and provide guidance and feedback to production.
Supervise quality control technicians, as needed.
Provide introduction and daily application of the Food Safety and Quality policy in the plant to ensure continued
compliance to HACCP and other food safety programs.
Establish, monitor and update (as warranted) Food Safety and Quality programs in conjunction with other departments to meet company and regulatory objectives such as FDA/USDA, including but is not limited to; quality control testing, microbiological testing, HACCP, food safety and defense procedures, pesticide residue control, GMPs, pest management and housekeeping/sanitation practices.
Develop and maintain programs, materials and protocols in the areas of Food Safety, QA, BRC, HACCP, GMP, FSMA for use in training all production employees.
Plan and perform bi-annual mock recalls.
Analyze QA test results and communicate QA information to all relevant organizational departments.
Identify critical control points in the manufacturing process and specify procedures to be used at those points.
Review FSQMS documentation necessary for regulatory submissions and inspections.
HACCP/Food Safety Team Member - has authority to initiate actions in regards to Food Safety and Quality programs.
Additional duties as assigned.
Associate/Bachelor degree in Food Science or related field preferred;
Minimum of two years of Food Safety and Quality management role in a manufacturing environment;
Working knowledge of food safety programs: GFSI, GMPs, HACCP, SSOP;
Strong project management skills;
Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel;
Ability to work with tight deadline and meet new and changing demands.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
