Job Overview TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow.
They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures.
Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
What your background should look like:
TE Connectivity Tullahoma is hiring a 2nd shift Supervisor for its Tullahoma, TN manufacturing facility.
This plant produces electronical fasteners and connectors for the automotive industry utilizing state-of-the-art plastics injection molding technology.
This position is for Weekdays.
o Achieve customer satisfaction by assuring that products are manufactured within the plant objectives for safety, cost, quality, and delivery.
o Plays a critical role in supporting TEOA Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
o Development and implementation of manufacturing processes to achieve cost, scrap, and delivery targets.
o Determines labor resources sufficient for successfully meeting production requirements and assures proper training.
o Monitor operations in conjunction with the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator.
o Administers Company policies, concerning hiring, evaluations, and discipline.
o Provides reports such as production, scrap and machine/operator/set up rates.
o Directs production activities according to established schedules.
o Meets regularly with direct reports to facilitate production requirements, consistency, and teamwork.
o Interfaces across functions to share information relative to specifications, deviations, changes, etc.
to drive continuous improvements.
o High Diploma or equivalent - Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering related discipline, or equivalent experience is a plus.
o Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
o Experience with Six Sigma tools and lean manufacturing techniques is a plus.
o Skilled in MS Office software applications.
o SAP experience is a plus.
o Must be proficient in the English language.

COMPENSATION o Competitive base salary commensurate with

$64,000 - $78,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location) o Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
