Position
Summary:
Plans/Schedules/Coordinates plant preventative maintenance, work order requests, third party service providers and other maintenance activities.
Responsible for maintaining the facility CMMS system and audits the effectiveness of maintenance work.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Understands the concepts of planning and scheduling workCoordinate outside service request, establish purchase orders, ensure purchase orders are closed and manage expenses within budget requirementsAssist in preparing budget for production and manage expenses within budget requirements.
Prioritize work to achieve highest efficiencies possibleUse computers and associated software programs such as Word and Excel to plan maintenance activities and develop training documents.
Utilize Visio to create process flow chartsTrack metrics, performance, and efficiency of work scheduled using spreadsheets and graphs as well as document in report format, PowerPoint slides, and on bulletin boardsRead and comprehend technical manuals, service manuals, diagrams, blueprints and schematicsUnderstand the theory and operation of the production line equipmentUnderstand environmental requirements as they relate to scheduling and completing workUnderstand the theory of and application of predictive and preventive maintenance as it relates to production equipmentManage predictive and preventive maintenance for an area (SOJ/NCB) of production equipment and schedule required corrective actionsIdentify and assist in the implementation of safety or other projects as requiredEnsure production areas are maintained to current GMP standardsPossess electrical knowledge and understand the plant floor power distribution systemRead and understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and P&ID flow diagramsUtilize Maximo to plan, schedule, print, document time, and manage WO's from inception through completionKeep accurate records as required to protect products, ingredients, processes, and informationEnsure all security measures are followedAudit and monitor programs and processes as needed to maintain reliabilityRead, understand, and comply with MSDS'sResponds in a timely manner to associate work requests including safety work ordersUnderstands operations, procedures, inventory parts, LOTO, improvements, breakdown analysis, PM's, 5S, etc.
